On behalf of the Cumberland Law Review, the Acquisitions Committee is extending our call for papers for Issue 2 of Volume 52 to be published in the 2021-2022 academic year. Issue 2 is focused on the latest developments in technology and the law, including but not limited to: cybersecurity, e-discovery, data management, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property. Further, in Spring of 2022, the Cumberland Law Review will host its annual symposium centered on this topic. Authors for this issue could also receive an invitation to speak at the symposium.

Please email your submission to CLR-articles@samford.edu no later than Monday, August 2, 2021.  We will consider full manuscripts and substantial drafts as well as proposals including the title, abstract, and author’s CV. After offers are accepted, the Cumberland Law Review and the author will work together to determine the deadline for the final paper.  Accepted papers will be published in the Cumberland Law Review, Volume 52, as well as published online by leading legal databases including LexisNexis, HeinOnline, and Westlaw.  Papers should be formatted pursuant to academic literature standards. The Bluebook citation method should be utilized for footnote text.

Best,
