I grew up in Northern Florida, and went to New College from 2000-2004, graduating with a degree in History/Economics. I went straight to History Graduate School at Ohio State University and wrote a dissertation on the history of consumer credit discrimination by gender. I now live with my wife and dog in Northern Virginia, where I work online as a professor (American Public University) and project manager. I am working on a piece on student loan policy history.
