Peg O'Hara

Peg graduated from James Madison University with a BS in Biological Sciences with a physiology concentration and a minor in secondary education. She received a Master’s degree in Administration and Education from George Mason University. Peg taught biology, chemistry and human anatomy & physiology for sixteen years, high school level, for Fairfax County Public Schools. She created lessons using a variety of instructional technologies and was recruited to develop curriculum for the new online academy science courses. She was invited to create similar lessons for a summer institute at NIH, the Human Genome Project. The instructional technology administration encouraged me to use those skills and experiences on a wider scale and placed me in a high school site. There, she provided instruction to fourteen departments, administration and the support staff. Her focus was to teach, demonstrate, work with and observe the staff integrating technology for the school. She is currently enrolled in a post graduate program at George Mason University for eLearning and Instructional Technology with an anticipated graduation of December 2018.
