Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps, attained the rank of Corporal (E-4).  An alumnus of the Ohio State University, Bachelor of Science in Education from the Department of Education and Human Ecology, with a major in the Industry of Sport and minor in Economics (Microeconomics). 

An alumnus of Capital University Law School, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a concentration in Litigation.  

Licensed to practice law in Ohio state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
