Now I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in Economics, Department of Economics, Faulty of Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir. I have also completed PhD at National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai in the area of International Finance in general, and the specific topic is “Determinants and Impact of FDI Inflows on Indian Economy: An Econometric Investigation” under the supervision of Prof. D. S. Hegde, Group Coordinator, General Management, National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai. I have published more than 50 articles in quality refereed journals, contributed 6 chapters in edited volumes and authored 1 book. Apart from academic research, I have also contributed to different English Dailies on contemporary socio-economic issues. I have successfully conducted several Conferences (International & National), Seminars, symposiums, Faculty Development Programmes, and Research Workshops. I have also supervised 2 Major Research projects and One is in progress. I would like to mention that presently, I am acting as a reviewer of several coveted Journals. I am an Associate Editor of the Academy of Marketing Studies Journal; a ‘B’ category Journal indexed in the ABDC list. I am also a member of the editorial board of Journal of Public Affairs, Wiley Publication which is a ‘B’ category Journal indexed in ABDC and International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies a C Category Journal of ABDC Index-Journal, Inderscience Publication. I have been continuously engaged in University level education delivery system in the area of Economics for more than a decade.
