About Me

Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering Department. Research interest in polymer nanocomposites, nanomaterials synthesis, recycling of polymers and polymer composites, characterization of soft materials and rubber nanocomposites.

Over 12 years of experience in research and development – synthesis of nanoparticles, characterization of nanomaterials, development of polymeric composites, testing of polymer composites –mechanical, dynamic mechanical, thermal, morphological, barrier properties and spectroscopic measurements and analyses.

Chemical Engineering faculty with teaching expertise in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, methods of chemical analysis, polymer chemistry and petrochemicals. Over 6 years of teaching experience in university and undergraduate college levels.

Authored and co-authored more than 60 technical writings including articles in refereed journals, edited book, chapters in books and conference proceedings.

Supervised more than 10 research works at BSc, MSc and PhD levels

Actively involved in curriculum development, degree program accreditation since 2014.
