The UC Davis Journal of International Law and Policy is currently accepting submissions for our fall and spring issues of Volume 29! This year, we hope to focus our journal on the social implications and impacts of war. While we will consider any submission falling under the broad theme of war, we specifically encourage submissions highlighting and exploring the intersection of social justice issues and war. Some examples include refugees and housing displacement, rates of sexual assault/gendered violence against civilians, inhumane military tactics, environmental impacts, and so on. We would be honored if you would consider publishing with us in either of our issues.

The UC Davis Journal of International Law and Policy publishes semi-annually and strives to contribute pertinent and interesting scholarly works to the field of international law. We publish articles from legal academics, practitioners, and our own students. With the present war in Ukraine, we think it is important to highlight the various atrocities arising in war, both currently, historically, and in the future. We hope to publish articles focusing on the intersection of social justice issues and war. We sincerely look forward to reading your submissions.
