The Michigan Journal of Gender & Law is seeking submissions for our Winter 2022 issue centered around the topic of gender and democratic processes. We very much welcome submissions that deal with, for example, the role of gender in election processes, public discourse or parliament.

Submissions should be between 15,000 and 35,000 words, including footnotes, and must have a clear connection to the topic of gender and democratic processes. We are open to receiving submissions from a range of individuals including professors, students, legal scholars, social scientists, and practitioners; that cover international, domestic or foreign law; and that contain more experimental, including interdisciplinary, legal arguments.

To submit your article, please send the piece and a copy of your CV to mjgl-submissions@umich.edu, or submit through Scholastica, by September 6,2021. Updated info coming soon.
