The Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics is pleased to invite you to submit an article to volume XXXIII.

You are invited to submit scholarship for publication in either our symposium issue or one of our regular issues. The Symposium, to be held in the spring of 2020, will amplify contemporary issues in professional self-regulation. Topics for the symposium issue may include, but are not limited to:

  • Sanctions for attorney criminal and ethical misconduct in domestic and foreign jurisdictions
  • Transparency and accessibility in attorney disciplinary proceedings, including state efforts to move disciplinary records online
  • Transparency and accessibility in judicial recusal processes

Our regular issues will, as in past years, highlight a broad array of trends in legal ethics. We accept articles of any length with footnotes that comply with The Bluebook.
