The Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal (RCTLJ) is accepting submissions from academics and legal practitioners for Volume 50 (Spring 2023).

RCTLJ is the oldest computer law periodical in the academic world. Works we have published address a wide variety of technology related issues including but, not limited to: Litigation, Law Enforcement, Government, Education, Business, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Healthcare & Science, Regulatory Affairs, Privacy, Cybercrime, and Social Media.

Works published in this journal have been cited in numerous texts, articles, and judicial opinions, including those of the United States Supreme Court. We also publish an annual bibliography of articles published in the field of computer and technology law. We are proud of our journal’s history and strive to continue that tradition of excellence in each issue we publish.

Please submit the following:

  • 40–60 page article, written with Bluebook citations, that deals with a topic at the intersection of technology and the law
  • Resume/Curriculum Vitae
  • Cover letter with the author’s name, address, phone number, email address, and a brief description of their background
Again, please note as per journal policy, we only publish works from established professionals and academics (preferably at least three years out of law school)- we do not accept any B.A., M.A., or J.D. candidate submissions.

If you require expedited review, please submit an expedite request through Scholastica. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at managingeditors@rctlj.org

We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
