The Columbia Journal of Race and Law is excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for two methods of online publication!

Submit an Online Comment:

Beginning with Volume 11, the Columbia Journal of Race and Law will be publishing online Comments in addition to our print Articles and Notes. Comments are traditionally shorter than law review Articles—roughly fifteen to twenty-five pages—and are generally responsive to current events or recent developments in the law, although they do not have to be. Published Comments will appear on WestLaw and other legal and academic databases where CJRL’s print publications can be found. Please submit Comments via email to cjrl.columbia@gmail.com and note in the email subject line that your piece is an online Comment rather than a print Article. An abstract should be included in your submission. Please also include your CV/resume.

Submit a Blog Post:

Also beginning with Volume 11, the Columbia Journal of Race and Law will be publishing online blog posts in addition to our more traditional publications. These posts are short—roughly 200 to 800 words—and should respond to current events or recent developments in the law. Unlike Comments, these blog posts will not appear on Westlaw or other legal or academic databases, but will be available on our website for easy and wide distribution. Please submit blog posts via email to cjrl.columbia@gmail.com and note in the email subject line that your piece is a blog post. Please also include your CV/resume.

We look forward to reading your work!
