The Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal is soliciting symposium proposals for our spring of 2026 symposium with the resulting submissions to be published in Volume 43 of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal. We aim to publish 5–7 articles, essays, and/or commentaries on a timely and relevant legal topic related to the labor & employment field in our symposium issue. While an in-person event at Hofstra University is not required, we would like to have an event in addition to the symposium issue. We are seeking submissions of proposals for symposium topics and subsequently related articles.

If available, please include any of the following information:
  • A detailed description of the symposium topic. We are looking for timely topics that will contribute to legal scholarship in the field of labor & employment.
  • A list of authors who could write articles or commentaries for the symposium issue. Please provide abstracts for already written pieces that could be part of the issue.
  • A list of potential speakers and panelists.
Please send any proposals or articles to laboremploymentlaw@hofstra.edu. Additionally, please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Garrett McGuinness
