Hello Authors!
Maryland’s premier journal of legal scholarship, the University of Baltimore Law Forum, invites the submission of unsolicited manuscripts for its Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 issues of Volume 54. Submissions may include previously unpublished articles, essays, case notes, or comments concerning any aspect of Maryland law or legal issues impacting Maryland.
The University of Baltimore Law Forum intends to publish “Articles” typically around 20-25 pages and long-form “Essays” ranging between 8-12 pages, but submissions of all kinds are welcome and encouraged. For our Fall publication, Issue I, we seek abstract submissions by June 16, 2023.
All electronic submissions may be submitted through Scholastica or directly to ublawforum@ubalt.edu.
Submissions should include the following:
An abstract of the Article or Essay.
Current curriculum vitae with author contact information.
If available, a manuscript containing proper footnotes that comply with the standards set forth in The Bluebook (21st Edition).
