The UC Law Journal of Race & Economic Justice (JREJ) seeks submissions for articles, notes, and practitioner perspectives on race, law, and political economy. We invite submissions focused on a broad range of issues germane to the work of lawyering for racial and economic justice, particularly works applying perspectives on movement lawyering, queer and gender justice, environmental justice, disability justice, abolition/decarceration, anti-imperialism, decolonization, and other approaches to emancipatory politics in the legal field.
We strongly encourage submissions from authors of color and members of other marginalized communities. Practitioner perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches to these issues are also encouraged and welcomed. We welcome submissions from students and scholars associated with any institution, including first-time authors new to scholarly publishing.
