Berkeley Journal of Employment & Labor Law is open for submissions for Volume 47, Issue 2! The
Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law ("BJELL") is the nation's leading law review for employment and labor law scholarship. BJELL articles address a range of legal issues of interest to both scholars and practitioners. Topics include employment discrimination, labor law, public sector employment, employee benefits, and workforce participation.
We have recently been cited by the United States Supreme Court, in New Prime v. Oliveira, and by the California Supreme Court, in Dynamex v. Superior Court.
BJELL’s mission is to provide a forum for academics and practitioners to discuss emerging developments in the field. We welcome articles about labor and employment law, broadly construed, and have published both theoretical and empirical work in recent years.
