The American Criminal Law Review is one of the nation’s premier journals of criminal law and is currently accepting submissions for Volume 56. ACLR seeks to serve the criminal law community by providing a forum for the best scholarship in the field. We strive to provide information and ideas that are useful to criminal law practitioners and academics.
ACLR publishes three issues a year containing articles from leading criminal law scholars. We also regularly publish articles on our website.
We preference submissions with 8k-13k words above-the-line and do not review student-written work. We only select articles entirely related to American criminal law.
