2023 Denver Law Review Emerging Scholar Award Submissions Open April 3rd!

The Denver Law Review 2023 Emerging Scholar Award submission period will be open from April 3 - April 7, 2023. This  opportunity is for all scholars who have:

  1. Received their J.D. as of March 1, 2023;
  2. Not yet accepted a tenure-track teaching position; and
  3. Not held full-time teaching positions for more than three years.
Award:
The selected recipient will receive an award of $500 and a binding offer for publication in DLR Issue 1, Volume 101, scheduled for early 2024.

Submissions:
To participate, please email your article and CV to Rachel Gärlick (rgarlick24@law.du.edu) with the subject line “Emerging Scholar Award.”

This opportunity is open to articles that were previously submitted to the Denver Law Review, but we kindly ask that you resubmit your articles directly to Rachel Gärlick in order to be eligible for the Award.

We will accept submissions for the Emerging Scholar Award April 3, 2023 through April 7, 2023. The articles will then be anonymized by the Editor-in-Chief and blind-ranked by our Articles Team by April 17, 2023.
